A charming, compact Queen suite with a large, modern bathroom, meticulously restored in 2020 and opened in April 2021 as the most recent addition to the train stay. Originally an HG mixed-train Guards Van with a small passenger compartment and Guards room, built at Eveleigh Carriage Works in 1900, it was converted to a Workman's Van (L1162) in 1952, then condemned and sold at Mudgee Yard to Scott for $60 in 1983 – serving as a workshop, storeroom and occasional overflow bedroom until its full-scale renovation. A roof over the whole area helps preserve and cool it while creating a covered social space linking the Station and the Van.
