We had a great time here! The photos online don't do Ruwenzori justice. There's so much to see and do here; we spent much of our time examining the many artefacts and studying the details of the state car. Will be back – with friends!
A special weekend given to Leslie for her '50th'. We have had a great, relaxing catch-up in an awesome venue. Thanks for some great memories. We traveled from Moree and Narromine and I'm pretty sure we'll be back!

It's probably the only place in the world where you can stay in hundred-year-old Australian train carriages on top of a hill with multiple breathtaking views, and most importantly, incredible hosts Scott and Martin! You can see how much love and labour they've put into it with a story in every corner. An unforgettable experience that we hope to revisit again in the future!
Our family had such an amazing stay at the retreat, everything was just as nice as the pictures, actually it was probably better in real life. The care taker Martin was there to greet us on arrival and show us around... Everything was clean and tidy and there was plenty to do to entertain ourselves with the games room, bushwalking, or relaxing by the fire at night. It was hard to leave this magical place, but we'll be back!!
Ruwenzori Retreat is simply amazing! It is obviously a labour of love and it really shows. From the hilltop location with views around the Mudgee area, to the excellent set up to make your stay comfortable, everything is just beautifully complete... The Games Rooms is a very special place and our group spent many hours enjoying the facilities there. I thoroughly recommend Ruwenzori and we'll be back!!
