Just 6kms from Rylstone, Kandos is famous for being the place from which all the cement for the Sydney Harbour Bridge (amongst other things) came.
The town’s industrial heritage lives on today with a heritage railway - vintage trains still run through the countryside surrounding Kandos, a treat for rail enthusiasts exploring the region.
